Will You Be Part of the Solution?
What is SuperBuild?
SuperBuild is Shirts Across America’s (SAA) annual fundraiser that challenges trip volunteers to raise awareness in their communities about the ongoing recovery in New Orleans. This symbolic walk will help commemorate the 14 years that have passed since Hurricane Katrina impacted the Gulf Coast, as well as help support our building partners in New Orleans and contribute to the student volunteer scholarship fund.
SuperBuild began after our first trip to New Orleans in 2008 and originally supported our first building partner, SBP (formerly St. Bernard Project). We have since expanded SuperBuild to support our newest building partners, New Orleans Area Habitat For Humanity (NOAHH) and Youth Rebuilding New Orleans (YRNO). Proceeds from SuperBuild support our building partners in purchasing building materials for the homes SAA volunteers work on. Without our building partners, we would not be able to do the work that we do!
Volunteer Fundraising Pages
Each volunteer has their own fundraising page for SuperBuild. Click below for your school page, then find your name and link to your personalized page.
We encourage volunteers to branch out beyond their immediate family for support, as this fundraiser is focused on educating the community as a whole of the challenges faced by the Gulf Coast. Plus, you will be able to tell people how you have decided to spend your break and even inspire others to engage with their own community!
Simply email or text your page to family, friends and your community.
