SAA’s route to New Orleans begins in Atlanta, and the journey continues through Montgomery. We will connect our past to the present creating thoughtful dialogue while on our tour of the south.
Not only will we see historic Civil Rights landmarks, visit museums and help another family move home – we will explore how we are impacting our world through the lens of Human Rights.

2024 Human Rights Immersion Trip Schedule
SAA will take you on a Human Rights journey to Los Angeles, California. We will connect our past to the present to help us move forward. Together we will dive deeper into our hidden history while examining the impact of the Holocaust, genocides and other significant world events.
We will meet and thank Renee Firestone for her untiring efforts to stop genocides after surviving Auschwitz Concentration Camp. Our group will learn from a former racist skinhead and Director of the White Aryan Resistance on his journey away from a world of hate and antisemitism.
We will visit historic landmarks, museums, and dig deeper into the diverse cultures of Los Angeles. Our group will explore the impact of learning history through the lens of Human Rights.
