SAA’s Core Team Prepares You
Lead Trips, apply to College and so much more
SAA has received national attention over the years for its inspiring hands-on experiences and leadership programming. We continue to build upon our success through our new and existing partnerships with Homeboy Industries, SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center), EJI (Equal Justice Initiative) and more. We will learn and experience how our country was founded and the systems currently in place.
History Brought to Life
Our unique leadership program and methodology brings history to life while Global Leaders visit SAA in person and virtually. What makes SAA’s leadership workshops unique? We have top global experts involved as we tackle the important subjects of Human Rights, Civil Rights, Diversity, and the Justice System. What makes SAA truly unique is how we bring history to life as our students learn directly from people who have lived through historical moments that have helped define our globe. The students may hear from a Holocaust survivor, a member of the Civil Rights Movement, a Rwandan Genocide survivor, etc.

SAA believes in you and provides you with a fully integrated leadership program that is second to none. Our cost for the 8-month long program is over $1,600 per student. SAA fundraises throughout the year to cover $1,000 per Core Team member! Yes, that’s right we believe in you. Your total cost for the program is only $600*.
*all Core Team members are required to travel with SAA on a New Orleans trip over the 2022-23 year and responsible for standard trip costs separately.
