In the summer of 2009, SAA brought a group of college students to NOLA to help Momma D get back home.
She made us Red Beans and Rice & shared that she was physically born in the home we were working on.
Momma D’s one wish, “I just want to be home in time to cook Thanksgiving Dinner for my family this year!”
Needless to say, Momma D was back home in time for Thanksgiving Day 2009.
