Pat Wright helped Co-Found Shirts Across America at the King Classic @ KeyArena. A group of high school students determined to help families move home after Hurricane Katrina were given direction and inspiration. Together as a community we stood on the Sonics floor honoring Dr. King with Pat Wright leading the way.
A Choir, 10 basketball teams, basketball officials, parents, friends and fans stopped to appreciate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s sacrifice and vision. We listened as Pat led the choir. We stopped everything as she reminded us that we are all connected. One group of people wanting to help families 2,500 miles away.
And now we stop to Honor Pat!
The WOA was at the starting blocks of this relay, we call Shirts Across America (SAA).
You were there at the very beginning, please join us for a special event.
