SAA has received national recognition for its powerful hands-on experiences and transformational leadership programming. As we continue to grow, we are creating new opportunities for students to engage more deeply with the history, systems, and stories that have shaped our nation.
Through immersive experiences and meaningful conversations, students will challenge perspectives, strengthen their leadership, and gain the knowledge and courage to create lasting impact in their communities and beyond.
History Brought to Life
SAA’s unique leadership program brings history to life through transformative in-person and virtual experiences with Global Leaders from around the world. Our curriculum challenges students to explore some of the most important issues facing humanity – understanding injustice, building empathy across cultures, and discovering the power of courageous leadership to create meaningful change.

SAA believes in you and provides you with a fully integrated leadership program that is second to none. Our cost for the 8-month long program is $1,695 per student. SAA fundraises throughout the year to cover over $1,000 of your Core Team curriculum costs! Yes, that’s right we believe in you. Your total cost for the program is only $695*.
*All Core Team members are required to travel with SAA on a New Orleans trip over the 2026-27 year and will be responsible for immersion trip costs separately.
