2015 South Sound Volunteer Kick Off Event

2015 New Orleans
Volunteer Trips

Coming up Sunday, October 12th – Shirts Across America launches the 2014-15 school campaign, “Be 4 NOLA in 2015” in the South Sound/Tacoma area.

If you are a high school student and wish to volunteer in New Orleans over Spring Break, this is your opportunity to learn about our 2015 trips to the Gulf Coast.

Shirts Across America has sent 1,450 volunteers to NOLA and Missisippi over the last 6+ years and we will be sending another 300 volunteers to the Crescent City this year.

If you are interested in volunteering with SAA, join us for this Mandatory Kick Off Meeting for Students and a Parent/Guardian at Bellarmine Preparatory School’s Theater on Sunday, October 12th at 4pm. Shirts Across America welcomes our special guest speaker, Dana Sanders. Dana played in the National Football League and is currently a member of the Retired NFL Players Association.

Dana will speak to us about growing up in New Orleans and how his family lost nine houses to Hurricane Katrina. Dana will bring his positive energy and “be the change” attitude to help launch this critical year in the building of NOLA.

This event will be informative and inspiring.

2015 marks the 10th year since Hurricane Katrina decimated the Gulf Coast. Be 4 NOLA and help another family move home.
