2015 Seattle Volunteer Kick Off Event

2015 New Orleans
Volunteer Trips

Coming up Tuesday, October 7th – Shirts Across America launches the 2014-15 school campaign, “Be 4 NOLA in 2015”.

If you are a high school student and wish to volunteer in New Orleans over Spring Break, this is your opportunity to learn about our 2015 trips to the Gulf Coast.

Shirts Across America has sent 1,450 volunteers to NOLA and Missisippi over the last 6+ years and we will be sending another 300 volunteers to the Crescent City this year.

If you are interested in volunteering with SAA, join us for this Mandatory Kick Off Meeting for Students and a Parent/Guardian at Seattle Preparatory School’s Theater on Tuesday, October 7th at 7pm. Shirts Across America welcomes our special guest speaker, Collins Tuohy, from the movie The Blind Side.

The Tuohy family’s story was told through film as they welcomed a stranger, Michael Oher, into their home and positively impacted his life. Collins Tuohy shares her family’s decision to invite Michael in AND why the Tuohy’s have established the Making it Happen Foundation.

This event will be informative and inspiring.

2015 marks the 10th year since Hurricane Katrina decimated the Gulf Coast. Be 4 NOLA and help another family move home.
